Get to Know ron97 — The Online Casino Platform Built Specifically for Malaysia
Every business has a story behind its founding. For ron97, the story began with a shared frustration — our founders, like many Malaysian players, found that the online casino platforms available at the time were never truly built for Malaysian users. Formal and sometimes confusing English, payment methods that required international credit cards, no serious coverage of local sports, and customer support that expected you to write in a language that wasn't your own. It wasn't right, and it could be changed. That's what drove the founding of ron97 in 2019.
From day one, ron97 has been built around one unwavering focus: to be the most player-friendly online casino platform for Malaysians. This is not just a marketing tagline. It is reflected in every technical and operational decision we make. When Touch 'n Go eWallet gained popularity in Malaysia, ron97 was among the first platforms to integrate it as a primary payment method. When the Malaysian Super League began drawing greater attention, ron97 added more comprehensive coverage than any international platform. When Malaysia's esports scene started taking off with Mobile Legends MPL, ron97 already had a full betting market ready for local fans.
The ron97 platform today offers over 500 games spanning a wide range of categories – from progressive jackpot slots with the potential for multi-million MYR wins, to live blackjack with Bahasa Malaysia-speaking dealers, Texas Hold'em poker at tables filled with local players, live casino baccarat and roulette, and Sports Betting covering more than 30 disciplines from around the world. What makes ron97's game collection stand out is not just its size – but the way each title is carefully selected and curated around what Malaysian players genuinely love.
Trust is the foundation of everything we do at ron97. That means continuous investment in cutting-edge security infrastructure – 256-bit SSL encryption protecting all personal data and financial transactions, two-factor authentication for secure logins, AI-powered fraud monitoring operating 24/7, and annual independent audits of our random number generation systems. It also means transparency – every Live Casino session is recorded and reviewable in the event of a dispute, and all game RTP figures are published openly for members to reference.
One area ron97 is especially proud of is the language experience. Not only is the platform interface fully available in Bahasa Malaysia — our live casino dealers also interact in natural, friendly Bahasa Malaysia. Imagine playing blackjack and being able to ask the dealer in your mother tongue about the rules, or simply having a casual chat while waiting for the next round. It's an experience you won't find on any other international platform, and it makes every session far more comfortable and enjoyable.
On the financial side, ron97 makes deposits and withdrawals as fast and seamless as possible. Using Touch 'n Go eWallet — an app that has become part of everyday life for Malaysians — you can deposit in seconds and start playing right away. GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks are also available as additional options. Most importantly, when you win, your money is back in your hands within just 5 minutes. No lengthy verification processes, no unreasonable excuses, and no hidden fees eating into your winnings.
Ron97 takes social responsibility and responsible gaming very seriously. We believe an online casino should be a source of entertainment and fun — not stress or financial hardship. That's why the ron97 platform comes equipped with comprehensive self-control tools: daily and weekly deposit limits that players can set themselves, loss limits to ensure you never lose more than you can afford, a full self-exclusion option for a period of your choosing, and links to professional support resources for anyone who needs help. All ron97 games are strictly for individuals aged 18 and above.
Today, with over 250,000 active members from every corner of Malaysia – from Kuala Lumpur and Selangor on the Peninsula, to Sabah and Sarawak in Borneo – ron97 has proven that there is a genuine need for an online casino platform built and operated with local players at its core. Our journey is far from over. We continue to invest in the latest technology, expand our game library, strengthen our security infrastructure, and refine the user experience based on member feedback. Thank you for being part of the ron97 community – we are here for you, always.
